Curieuse & St. Pierre

Curieuse Island is situated only a 10 minutes boatride from Cote d'Or and its the 5th larges island of Seychelles. the island is home to about 200 Aldabra giant tortoises and a got tortoise hatchery.
The island was once used as a leprosy station. Today you can still visit a few ruins and the renovated doctor's house.
It takes about 45 minutes to cross the island on foot, crossing small hills, wooden walkways and mangrove forests. On a full-day excursion, you are rewarded with a delicious Creole BBQ after the hike before continuing on to the marine park of St. Pierre (great photo) for snorkelling in the afternoon. (Unfortunately, most of the coral is bleached and dead due to El Nino, a few colourful corals are slowly growing back).

Cousin, Curieuse, St. Pierre

The bird conversation island is about 20 minutes by boat from Cote Dor and may be visited monday to friday
After landing, you get a 1-hour tour of the island with the local rangers (English/French). Here, too, there are individual tortoises, many bird species such as Magpie Robin, Fairytern, White tailed Tropic Bird.

This excursion is offered in combination with Curieuse (incl. delicious Creole BBQ) and St. Pierre for snorkelling.

(Attention: dont forget to bring your mosquito repellent and possibly long-sleeved clothing... due to the breeding birds, there will be no spraying against mosquitoes on Cousin... they are numerous).

Aride

 

Just like Cousin a bird sanctuary, you get a guided tour with the rangers (English/ French).
It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach from Cote dor. Landing in a smaller boat directly on the beach is an adventure in itself.
If you are fit enough, you can climb up to the spectacular viewpoint. Here you can see fregate birds circling and right down to the seabed.
Aride is usually closed between May and September due to currents/waves making mooring difficult....

Coco - Sister - Felicite (3 Island combination)

Explore Seychelles underwater world. Coco Island is a famous spot to meet seaturtles.
Coco Island is a small granit rock island with some palm trees on it, its a beautiful scenery for a picture. Also on the neighbour island Felicite there is a big chance to meet a seaturtle. Unfortunatly most of the corals are dead / bleached (El Nino), but some of them are recovering slowly and regrowing

Sister Islands, consist of the uninhabitated little Sister Island and the private Island big Sister, which is opened for visitors from Monday to Friday (there is a entrance fee)

Boatexcursion to La Digue (Full Day)

Explore the island on your own by bicycle

La Digue is the fourth biggest island of Seychelles, and live is a bit slower over here. The main transport is the bicycle.

You can also find the Seychelles most famous beach "Anse Source d´Argent" on La Digue

To get to Anse Source d´Argent you have to pass through Lunion Estate Park (115 SCR entrance fee) - you will find an old cemetry, a vanilla plantation, and the steps of how to produce coconut oil over here.

also a must-do are the beaches Grand Anse (no swimming due to dangerous currents), but the scenery is breathtaking. And Anse Patates in the north of the island.
