Anse Lazio

Praslin's most famous beach is located in the northwest. It features fine sand, large granite boulders, and usually clear water.

Anse Lazio is located in the far northwest of Praslin and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles. The beach is about half a kilometer long, lined with Takamaka trees and large granite boulders at both ends.

For snorkeling, you can walk directly into the water from the beach. To the right, as you face the sea, the water is shallower, and there you'll find more coral and fish. To the left, the water is deeper and very clear. With luck, you might spot rays or a hawksbill turtle.

Come early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Many day-trippers arrive at midday. There are no public restrooms or showers, but restaurants are nearby. Entry is free.
