Hi there!
I am Mervin, a Seychellois, living on Mahé Island
After several years in the Seychelles Defence Forces i now work as a freelance skipper for different providers, time by time i also drive cargoboats between Mahé and La Digue
Most of the time i show clients "my" islands from the water, including the best snorkeling and fishing spots.
Sometimes i spend some days with my clients on a catamaran tour and cook for them during their stay onboard.
Since 2020 i am also a licensed Commission Guide

I am Lara born in Munich.
At the age of 3 years my parents took me to Seychelles for the first time, until now my passport shows over 50 Coco de Mer Stamps
In october 2016 i received a joboffer to work as a Representative and moved to Seychelles in January 2017
Its not always easy here, but until now i dont regret anything - Seychelles are deeply anchored in my heart.
Whenever i dont spend time on the Laptop i spend most of my time with my 4 Seychelles dogs: Malou, Nahla, Little Jack and Mama, and together we explore new trails and places for you.
The idea for Explore Seychelles came into my mind beginning of 2019 after several requests for reliable, lisenced guides with special language skills.
This page should inform, help and make booking of excursions easier
Sometimes there are too many fish in the ocean, so all our excursions are handpicked and tested by us personally.
All our providers are licensed, which ensures professional handling.
Our goal is to have satisfied holidaymakers who get exactly the service they want to make their dream holiday perfect. Among other things, we try to help local guides and smaller operators to get more bookings and thus support them.

Nevis belongs to the "old iron" in the boat business. Since over 10 years he offers boatexcursions from La Digue with his boat ZICO. Nevis is also a great cook, and sometimes his son Mikael will accompany him on the boat as a skipper.
Most of the time a crew member will join you in the water.
