Shark Bank (Nearby island: Mahé)

 

A spectacular dive site where reef sharks and manta rays can be observed up close in an impressive granite landscape. Due to the currents, it is more suitable for experienced divers.

 

Brissare Rocks (Nearby island: Mahé)

 

Colorful coral reefs and a playground for large fish such as barracudas and sharks. Due to sometimes strong currents, it is best suited for experienced divers.

 

Ennerdale wreck (nearby island: Mahé)

 

A sunken British oil tanker at a depth of 25 to 40 meters. An absolute highlight for wreck divers in search of giant groupers, barracudas, and reef sharks.

 

South Marianne (Nearby island: La Digue / Marianne Island)

 

An adrenaline-fueled dive among jagged rock pinnacles. Known for strong currents and a high density of large fish, including grey reef sharks.

 

Aldabra Atoll (Nearby island: Aldabra / Outer Islands)

 

An extremely remote UNESCO World Heritage Site (mostly only accessible by diving safari). Offers unique encounters with giant sea turtles, manta rays, and whale sharks.

The oldest marine protected area in the Indian Ocean. It offers protected coral gardens, colorful tropical fish, and shallow waters – ideal for day trips.

 

Anse Severe (Nearby island: La Digue)

 

A beautiful beach whose offshore coral reef offers perfect, calm and very easily accessible conditions for snorkelers, especially at high tide.

 

Coco Island (Ile Cocos) (Nearby island: La Digue / Felicite)

 

A tiny, uninhabited rocky island. The surrounding reef is like a natural aquarium full of colorful fish, rays, and sea turtles.

 

Beau Vallon Bay (Nearby island: Mahé)

 

Calm waters and shallow reefs make the ends of this large bay ideal for families and snorkeling beginners.

 

St. Pierre Island (Nearby island: Praslin)

 

A picturesque little granite island just off Anse Volbert. One of the most popular and fish-rich snorkeling spots in the region, perfect for a short boat trip.
